We are a community of Faithful Disciples who choose to seek the truth passionately,
to love the Lord and others intensely, and to give freely of our gifts,
because we believe that we are called to make the Kingdom of God visible in the world today.
Currently in process....
With the removal of the once convent of the Precious Blood Sisters and then for various years the St. Patrick Soup Kitchen, we close a part of the history of service to the parish and local peoples in need. It had been recommended twice by committees of fellow parishioners to take the building down since it had no real value to help the parish without incurring major expenses to try to renovate it and bring it up to present housing codes.
Prayer Before An Election
we seek to better understand the issues and concerns that confront our city/state/country,
and how the Gospel compels us to respond as faithful citizens in our community.
We ask for eyes that are free from blindness
so that we might see each other as brothers and sisters,
one and equal in dignity,
especially those who are victims of abuse and violence, deceit and poverty.
We ask for ears that will hear the cries of children unborn and those abandoned,
Men and women oppressed because of race or creed, religion or gender.
We ask for minds and hearts that are open to hearing the voice of leaders who will bring us closer to your Kingdom.
We pray for discernment
so that we may choose leaders who hear your Word,
live your love,
and keep in the ways of your truth
as they follow in the steps of Jesus and his Apostles
and guide us to your Kingdom of justice and peace.
We ask this in the name of your Son Jesus Christ and through the power of the Holy Spirit.

The 100 Year Celebration Continues!
All are welcome to attend!
St. Patrick Church Open House
October 23, 2016
2 PM to 4 PM
409 E. Main St. Troy Ohio.
St. Patrick Parish, Troy OH, is celebrating the 100th Anniversary of our current church building. The Parish has been holding events throughout the year to commemorate this anniversary and to recognize the dedication and sacrifices of our forebears to provide a beautiful worship space that ensures a healthy Catholic community in Troy.
Have you ever wonder what St. Patrick Catholic Church looks likes on the inside? Now is your chance. The parish is having an Open House for everyone to see our beautiful church. Parishioners will be stationed at key point throughout the church to explain the function and history of our worship space. We will be hosting our Open House on October 23, 2016. From 2 to 4 in the afternoon. All are welcome to attend at 409 E. Main St. Troy Ohio.
Can you find the Church Cornerstone? We've enhanced this photo to help you see it more clearly. Try to find it next time you come to Mass!
100 Year History
Quilt made to raise money for our "stone church" built in 1916. This quilt was sold and given back to the parish for display. According to the text posted with the quilt, it was made in the school year 1922-1912. Perhaps it was a ten year project. It currently hangs on the 2nd floor of our Parish Center, along with many other historical photos. Please take time to view this piece of our parish history.
